Yes, Schweser will honor Stalla Promise certificates. Stalla issued certificates to candidates who met the requirements and applied for the certificate within two weeks of the June exam, as per their rules. For 2012 we are also extending our Schweser PassProtection offer to 2011 Stalla candidates who are repeating a level and did not get a Stalla Promise certificate. For qualifying candidates, PassProtection provides a discount of 50% off our Premium packages.

I agree with DrH. I took L1 and L2 with Stalla. I am also not pleased with the Schweser product. The Qbank software seems amateur and low budget in comparison to the old Stalla one. I'm hopeful that along with the stalla assets came some stalla people who will be given the opportunity to continue AS THEY WERE. And hopeful that someone will be able to closely reproduce the Stalla software. The quality of stalla products just seemed better. Overall impression of Schweser in one word..... CHEAP

What happens to the "Stalla Promise?" I purchased their most comprehensive package for level 2, met all the criteria, but didn't pass. The promise that I purchased said would be able to get the new material for free the following year. Will Schweser honor that promise?

The video CD product is an instruction tool but is different from the live online classes in a variety of ways. Instructors can respond to candidate questions live in the class and devote more time to topics that are more difficult, explain the material differently based on candidate questions and gloss over relatively mundane parts.

You'd better redeploy the Stalla content ASAP b/c the Schweser's is of lower quality. I am very dissatisfied with SchweserPro QBank interface.

Now it is turn out that I will not received it at all never mind that I pay for this more than a month ago and nobody care to respond to my e-mails or phone calls. At least, please let me know how to cancel my order and when I can expect my money back?

Online Class Schedule
I live in a time zone that doesn't work for the live classes but I found it helpful for my own studying to keep pace with the live classes. Can you provide a schedule of the topics covered in each classes similar to what I found last year for Level I?

The online components of your June 2012 study package should have been available in your online account the business day after Early Study expired, replacing the Video Classes and the SchweserPro QBank in the Early Study Option. The benefit of the Early Study Option is the option to start studying earlier with the electronic materials. Hallo, I bought CFA 2 with Early Study Option and received the videos (online instruction) for the first two books. I even watched it a few weeks ago, but now it disappeared. So where is my benefit for early ordering now? Please post a link. Thank you!

The Early Study Option was offered as an incentive for candidates to pre-order our products; if you pre-ordered, we would send you electronic versions of some of our materials so you could get started while you waited for the printed versions to arrive.
