What products do you have?
Kaplan Schweser's products consist of SchweserNotes, Live Seminars, Weekly Seminars,

Why can't I reuse last year's SchweserNotes™?
Every summer, the CFA Institute announces its new curriculum. The CFA Institute adds new readings,
drops old readings and alters many of the learning outcomes associated with old readings. This requires
a complete rewrite of the previous year's SchweserNotes. Kaplan Schweser also writes new sample exams to reflect the
changes in the study guide. Because of these changes, previous editions of the Kaplan SchweserNotes are not
the best source of study materials. LOS revisions and additions, new readings, and the elimination of
readings make relying exclusively on past year's products for the current year's exam problematic.

Can I purchase the updates individually?
No. Kaplan Schweser rewrites all materials each year to reflect any curriculum changes.

Can I order via fax or mail?
If you prefer to mail or fax your order, then please create your order online. You will be able to calculate shipping and tax. Before

What is included in the Schweser Flashcards?
The Schweser Flashcards contain the main points of the readings along with learning outcomes and have
been designed for use as a quick review as well as a reference source. They are an excellent way for
a candidate to focus on the main points covered by a Learning Outcome Statement. Candidates may choose
to use the Flashcards to overview a topic prior to more in-depth study or as a follow-up to check
comprehension after a more in-depth study. They also are an excellent late season product for those
who are trying to synthesize as much material as possible prior to the examinations.

I am unable to use the Schweser Flashcards on my PDA or cell phone.
Schweser's web-enabled Flashcards require Internet access via a handheld device. Your PDA
(Palm or Blackberry) or cell phone's browser must allow HTML re-directs. Please contact your phone
provider if you are unable to set your options. Point your phone's web browser to
http://flashcards.schweser.com.

Why purchase both the classes and the videos?
The live online classes will cover most of the curriculum in a short time and as a result will be
relatively fast paced. The great thing about the online class is that it allows you to "tie it all together"
and point out areas that will require more study. Our online classes feature a technologically advanced
presentation by our level specialists.
Our videos cover all the topical areas of the curriculum, provide the benefits of a review
course and are an excellent solution to understanding those difficult concepts. Our professors
will explain the topics in more detail and allow you, the candidate, to take a more moderate
pace using a lecture/example format. The videos can be used as often as your schedule allows.
With the Kaplan Schweser Video Series, you will simultaneously be able to:
- Watch the video presentation with accompanying PowerPoint® slides.
- Pause the presentation at anytime to review the LOS explanation that corresponds
with the presentation.

What is SuperChat™?
SuperChat is Kaplan Schweser's webcasting technology. With SuperChat you can have live interaction with
our Level Manager without having to leave your home or office. Participate in quizzes and polls,
and ask questions in the current week's topics. Our webcasts include: 16-Week Online Class and Final Review Workshops.

I can't find my Study Planner
Login to www.schweser.com and click on the
Online Access link located in the shaded Login Details box. The Schweser Study Planner link is
located in the left-hand menu under the Online Tools with Notes heading. You may need to click
on the + (plus sign) key in order to create/follow a calendar.

Where are the Instructor-led Office Hours?
Please log in to www.schweser.com
and sign in using your username and password. Make sure that you click on the Online Access link in the
left-hand menu. The Instructor-led Office Hours are located under the Online Tools
w/Notes link.

What time will the Instructor-led Office Hours be shown in my country?
You can convert Eastern Time (United States) to your local time by following the directions below.

Where do I register to take the CFA exam?
Please contact the CFA Institute.

I cannot download my Secret Sauce™ (eBook) successfully on my work computer.
Contact your company's IT department before attempting to download Schweser's Secret Sauce™
(eBook) since you may have limited administrative rights. Please confirm with your company's IT person
that the todo.exe application is allowed access to your company's firewall in order to validate the key.
Remember to turn off any anti-virus software before beginning to download the Schweser Secret Sauce™
(eBook).

I have a White Box when I open my Video CDs.
Insert Video CD 1 and explore the contents of the CD-ROM. “Run” the setup.exe file in the JukeBox folder
when prompted with the question to either save or run. Install all of the Video CDs in the JukeBox.
If the white box appears again, right click on the box and close it.

I am receiving the "Could not create PDF Window" error.
Multiple versions of the Adobe Reader software may exist on the computer in use. As a result, the
older version of Adobe Reader will automatically load when opening a PDF document.
Download a free copy of
Adobe Reader.
To verify that the computer in use is loading the most current Adobe Reader software, right-click
on Start > Explore > Tools > Folder Options. Select the File Types Tab and verify that the PDF
extension opens with the most current version of Adobe Acrobat. If you are still experiencing errors,
please uninstall and re-install the Adobe Reader software. Re-starting the computer may also be required.

Are updates for SchweserPro™ Question Bank posted somewhere?
Any errors found in SchweserPro™ are updated immediately therefore if you have the online
version you are always seeing the most updated version of SchweserPro™. If you have the download
version or the CD version we recommend that you update SchweserPro™ weekly so you always have
the most updated version of SchweserPro™. To update SchweserPro™ simply click on the
"Update SchweserPro" link from the left hand menu of SchweserPro™ and then from
the next screen click on the "SchweserPro Live Update" button which will download the
updates via the internet. Performing this process weekly will allow you to always have the most
current and updated version of SchweserPro™.

Can I receive CPE credits for attending a Kaplan Schweser CFA live class or seminar?
We cannot offer CPE credits on CFA classes/seminars because we cannot comply with NASBA monitoring requirements in a cost effective way. We are very sorry.
