When Is WindsorWeek™?
WindsorWeek™ is May 1-7, 2010 at the University of Windsor, in Windsor, Ontario Canada (directly across the river from Detroit, Michigan). -

How will I know if I am properly registered for WindsorWeek™?
You will receive acknowledgement of your registration. Credit cards will be charged in January 2010. If you have questions, please send your inquiry via email to staff@schweser.com. -
When can I check in?
- Check-in is 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Saturday, May 1, at the Alumni Hall, which is located on Sunset Ave., south of Wyandotte.
- Room assignments and seminar materials will be distributed during the check-in period.
NOTE: If you plan to arrive on Friday, April 30, 2010 please let us know in advance to assure that your room is ready.
Check-in on Friday is anytime after 3:00 pm at Alumni Hall. Assistance is available at Alumni Hall 24 hours a day during your stay. Candidates arriving on Friday may pick up seminar materials between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Friday evening. Those who intend to stay the evening of Friday May 7, 2010 are responsible for their own lodging fees.

What about early and extended lodging?
- Early lodging (Friday, April 30, 2010 check in after 3:00 pm) and extended lodging (Friday, May 7, 2010) are both available.

What if I choose to stay at the Hilton Hotel?
WindsorWeek™ includes essential amenities such as a choice between residential housing on campus or a room at the Hilton Windsor hotel. Many people find they get the greatest benefit from the Windsor program by staying on campus. However, if you choose to stay at the Hilton Windsor, please take note that the hotel is 10 minutes away from the University of Windsor. -
What should I know about the classes at WindsorWeek™?
All classes start on Saturday, May 1, at 1:30 pm. -

What should I bring to classes?
Instructors will refer to SchweserNotes™ throughout WindsorWeek™. Please remember to bring your SchweserNotes™. If you have not already purchased SchweserNotes™, you can do so by visiting www.schweser.com. Also please bring notepaper, pencils, pens, calculators, highlighters, etc. -
Can I receive CPE credits for attending WindsorWeek™?
We cannot offer CPE credits on CFA classes / seminars because we cannot comply with NASBA monitoring requirements in a cost effective way. We are very sorry. -
How can I communicate with those who are not at WindsorWeek™?
- All rooms will have a phone for local calls; phone cards may be purchased from Conference Services for long distance calls.
- Callers can leave messages at 519-253-3000 Ext. 3143.
- Evening calls should be made to 1-888-561-5552 or 519-973-7041.
- Our staff will deliver messages to you by calling your name at the beginning of class.
- PLEASE! Turn off your cell phone when in the classroom.
- If you anticipate receiving written correspondence from the United States, please inform your correspondent that postage to Canada from the United States is approximately 72 cents for the first ounce and goes up for each additional ounce after.

As a traveler, what are some important things for me to know?
- IMPORTANT: Security at the Canada-U.S. border has been heightened and identification is closely monitored. U.S. citizens will be required to show a current passport when crossing the Canada-U.S. border by land.
- Non-U.S. citizens. Please check with your travel agent to determine what documentation (passport, visa, etc.) will be required for entry to the U.S. and Canada. We strongly urge any candidates traveling by air to secure a passport.
- Anyone flying into the United States (e.g., to Detroit, MI) will require a valid passport (this includes Canadians).

Delta/KLM/Northwest airline discount information.
Airline Discount
Northwest Airlines is the official airline to Detroit Metro for WindsorWeek™. You may receive an airline discount by calling Northwest at 1-800-328-1111 and mention the Ticket Designator No. NY2AE. The discount is valid on flights within the United States and Canada only. International flights are not covered in this type of discounts and other restrictions may apply.

- From the Flights tab, click the link "Do you have a Discount Travel E-cert or other voucher?"
- Complete the "Flight Options" section of the Flight Search screen
- In the "Additional Search Options" section
- Under "Do you have a Discount Travel E-cert, Electronic Credit Voucher (ECV) meeting", select "Yes"
- From the drop-down menu select "Meeting Agreement"
- Enter the Meeting Agreement code (NY2AE) in the box provided and complete your transaction

Flight Operation Fare Type Discount Markets Delta, KLM, Northwest Full/Non Restricted 5% Hub 7% Non-Hub Discounted / Restricted 2% Hub 5% Non-Hub
- Hub markets include travel to/from ATL/CVG/DTW/MEM/MSP/SLC. Discounts apply to round trip travel only.
- Discounts are applicable to base fares greater than $120USD/CAD each way. Round trip travel is required.
- Discounts applicable to U.S./Canada originating passengers.
- Not valid with other discounts, certificates, coupons or promotional offers. Fare rules will determine eligibility.

How do I get to Windsor?
Arriving from Detroit airport:
- Detroit Metro Airport Taxi goes directly from the airport to the University at a cost of about $70 US plus toll. It will take approximately 35 to 40 minutes to get to the University of Windsor from the Detroit airport.
- Car Rental Agencies (Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar Rent A Car, Enterprise Rent A Car, Hertz, & National) offer an affordable alternative to Detroit Metro Airport Taxis.
Arriving from Windsor airport or railroad station:
- Take a taxi directly to Alumni Hall. The taxi will take about 15-20 minutes to get to the University from either the airport or railroad station at a cost of approximately $30-35 CAD.
For those arriving by personal car, the University will provide parking spaces at no additional charge. Please contact Cassie Jewell, WindsorWeek™ Assistant Director, at 519-253-3000 Ext. 3143 to secure a parking permit.

What if I need to cancel my registration?
Cancellations must be received in writing before April 1, 2010, to receive a refund less the non-refundable deposit of $250.00 US / $300.00 CAD. Refunds will not be issued for any cancellations received on or after April 1, 2010. -
Are there other things I should know before coming to WindsorWeek™?
- All meals will be served in the Vanier Hall dining rooms.
- You must wear your nametag (received at registration) to meals.
- If you arrive Friday, April 30, you are responsible for your own dinner. Breakfast will be served Saturday morning.
- Early lodging (Friday, April 30, 2010 check in after 3:00 pm) and extended lodging (Friday, May 7, 2010) are both available. Please contact Cassie Jewell, WindsorWeek™ Assistant Director, at 519-253-3000 Ext. 3143 for details and to make arrangements.
- If you choose to stay at the Hilton Windsor, please take note that the hotel is 10 minutes away from the University of Windsor.
- Several restaurants are located within a two-block radius of the campus.
- Linens and towels will be provided with your room.
- Be sure to bring an alarm clock or clock radio.
- Dress during the seminar is casual.
- As the weather in May in Windsor is unpredictable, we will provide compact umbrellas.
- We recommend that you bring a sweater and / or light jacket and dress in layers.
- The University of Windsor is designated a non-smoking, smoke free environment.
- Smoking is not allowed in the residence rooms, classrooms, etc. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas.
- Attendees will be charged a $95 CAD university fee for unreturned or Cartier room keys and a $10 CAD university fee for unreturned swipe keys.
- The University has recreational facilities including: tennis courts, a swimming pool, a gym and a jogging track available for your use. You can pick up a daily gym pass at the Conference Desk located in Alumni Hall. There is also a beautiful path along the riverfront for walking, jogging or rollerblading.

Are there any available discounts?
Alumni, Repeating Candidate, and Corporate Discounts
- If you are registering for WindsorWeek™ as an SSFA or Kaplan Schweser Seminar alumnus, you are eligible to receive 5% off the 2010 WindsorWeek™ registration fee.
- If you are registering for WindsorWeek™ as an SSFA or Kaplan Schweser Seminar alumnus who did not pass the previous CFA Exam, you are eligible to receive 20% off the 2010 WindsorWeek™ registration fee.
- Alumni and Repeating Candidate discounts cannot be combined with any other WindsorWeek™ discount.
- Corporate, society, and university discounts vary. Please call a Kaplan Schweser Customer Service Representative to determine which discounts are applicable to you.
