The CFA program
Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) is a professional designation awarded to individuals by the CFA Institute. It is highly regarded in the financial services industry and represents an advanced level of knowledge and experience. The CFA Program consists of a series of three examinations (Level 1, 2 and 3) that must be taken in succession, and are offered only once annually in June, with the exception of Level 1 candidates who have to option to take the exam in December.

Tips To Remember
- You can save up to $400 if you pay your registration and enrollment fees before the first deadline
- If you sit for the 2009 Level 1 exam in June and pass, you will have to wait until June 2010 to sit for the Level 2 Exam
- If you sit for the 2009 Level 1 Exam in June and fail, you can retake the Level 1 Exam in December or the following June
- A minimum of 250 hours of preparation for each Level is recommended
