The Accelerated Certificate in Financial Planning Virtual Classroom program is a CFP Board-Registered program that will enable you to sit for the upcoming CFP® Exam. The Virtual Classroom program brings the personal attention of classroom instruction into your home or office, giving you the flexibility to create a study schedule around your needs and easy access to information critical to your success.

The Virtual Classroom is included as a choice when you purchase a Premium or Essential Study Solution. It's a great complement to these comprehensive study packages!

Virtual Classroom Program

The complete program is comprised of six modules (FP101–106) and can be completed in only nine months. For each module students will receive a CFP Board-required textbook, approximately 100 pages of pre-study materials and will attend a live class via the web. Classes are scheduled three days per week and three hours per class, which is equivalent to 21 hours for the FP101 and FP102 courses and 24 hours per course for FP103–106. At the end of each class, a final examination will be given. Students must achieve a passing score of 70% or greater before proceeding to the next module. Once a module is completed successfully, students may move on to the next session (or module) in the program.

Required Pre-Study

The program is divided into six classroom sessions (modules), with approximately six weeks of required pre-study before each class. We recommend at least 60 hours of pre-study for the first course (FP101) and 80 hours of pre-study for the subsequent courses (FP102–106) prior to attending each classroom session. Students are expected to come to class prepared.

Terms and Conditions
