A Kaplan advisor was recently told that The American College informed one of our students that Kaplan does not cover the basics in its CFP education and review programs.  Although, we cannot substantiate whether the statement was actually made, as the head of Kaplan's CFP Educational offerings, I felt the need to comment.   I can assure you that Kaplan is committed to helping students complete the required education and pass the CFP exam.  We spend time building a solid foundation...
