CFP® Exam Preparation

Continuing Education

The updated Code of Ethics became effective on July 1, 2008 with an enforcement date of Jan. 1, 2009. This code is designed to move the ethical standards for CFP® certification forward in a way that benefits the public. The CFP Board encourages all CFP® professionals to integrate the updated Standards with their daily practice as soon as possible.

Kaplan Schweser's new continuing education course, Ethics, is based on these standards and meets two hours of the CFP Board's continuing education requirement. The course is online and accessible to you anytime, anywhere. Upon successful completion of this course, Kaplan Schweser will submit your credit hours to the CFP Board.
