The Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) is a highly regarded designation ideally suited to financial planning professionals
who aspire to attain the CFP® Certification but lack the bachelor's degree or experience requirements. It is also a logical
first step for new hires in the financial services industry, sales assistants, and producers in transition.
NOTE: The QFA is not a CFP® Board-Registered program, but successful completion of this program allows
a QFA designee exemption from the CFP® Exam Education 101 Course (FP101) Kaplan University offers to obtain
the required education to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination.

Curriculum Overview
Kaplan Schweser has developed this entirely online course for the busy professional, delivering the concepts necessary to master the
fundamentals of providing comprehensive financial planning advice in a convenient and focused approach.
The QFA Program presents the fundamentals of financial planning with a concentration in wealth management. It encompasses 12 individual
lessons; each lesson can be completed in approximately 8–12 hours and includes a corresponding online quiz with 8 multiple-choice questions
and an online final examination.
