Steve Froikin, J.D., ChFC, CLU, CASL
Biography: Steve is the Director of Insurance Product Development and leads the team responsible for the Insurance Continuing Education, Professional Development, Professional Development curriculums, and Insurance Achievement product line. Before taking on a leadership role, Steve specialized in writing insurance continuing education courses for Kaplan in the areas of estate planning, retirement planning, and business planning. Prior to Kaplan, Steve was a senior writer analyst in taxation at CCH, Inc. He also wrote popular tax advice columns and small business planning features carried in the online editions of the Baltimore Sun, Chicago Tribune, Long Island Newsday, Los Angeles Times, Orlando Sentinel, and other major newspapers. Steve has the ChFC, CLU, and CASL advanced designations and is currently enrolled in a Masters Degree program in online education. Steve earned his law degree at Ohio State University and his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago. |

Nancy Lamers, J.D.
Biography: Nancy Lazar Lamers has been a part of the Insurance Achievement team for Kaplan since 2005. Before joining Kaplan in 2005, Nancy was an associate writer analyst in employment tax and employment law issues at CCH, Inc. While at CCH, Nancy co-authored the book "The Complete Guide to Garnishment: State and Federal Laws, Forms and Practical Guidance." Nancy earned her law degree at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. |
