Do you know your CFA® exam date? That might seem like a crazy question—who doesn’t know when they’re taking an exam? But, as you prepare to sit for the CFA exam, time can get away from you. In the case of your CFA, it’s important to measure all of your preparation against exam day, ensuring you stay mindful of the time you have to study and prepare.

When is CFA® Exam Day for the June 2018 CFA Exam?

CFA Institute announced that all three levels of the June 2018 CFA exam will be offered on Saturday, June 23, 2018. This change in the CFA dates will be enacted at all testing centers globally. Traditionally, the June CFA exam was offered on the first Saturday in June, three weeks earlier than the new testing date. Here are a few key dates you need to be aware of:

  • Registration for the June 2018 exam opened on July 27, 2017.
  • The deadline for early registration fees to be paid is September 20, 2017.
  • The standard registration fee deadline is February 14, 2018.
  • The final (late) registration fee deadline is March 14, 2018.

How Will The CFA® Exam Date Change Affect Me?

There is an upside to this change in the CFA dates for candidates. Schweser released study materials for the June 2018 CFA exam on the same schedule as last year. This means students have three more weeks to prepare for exam day, allowing additional time for study activities such as taking practice exams and attending a review workshop. Use this extra time before the CFA exam date wisely and ensure you are fully prepared for success on June 23, 2018.
