The CFA Program, administered by CFA Institute, sets the global standard for investment industry knowledge and ethical behavior. The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) credential is the globally recognized mark of distinction and benchmark for measuring the expertise, experience, and ethics of serious investment professionals. Kaplan collaborates with universities to develop and supplement curricula, as well as help students prepare for the CFA exam. From offering Kaplan’s course on your campus, leveraging our courses in a blended program, or simply utilizing our concise textbooks in existing classes, we can provide the insights and resources needed to develop a successful CFA exam review program at your university.

With many Baby Boomers heading toward retirement, the need for personal financial planners is growing every day. Recognized as the highest standard in personal financial planning, earning the CFP® mark will give professionals tremendous opportunities in their financial careers. Kaplan partners with universities to offer CFP Board-registered courses in financial planning. From live and online programs to exam review and materials partnership options, Kaplan has a CFP Board-registered program that can be tailored to your university’s needs.

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA®) revamped the way individuals will begin their career in the securities industry, which opens up an opportunity for universities to assist their students. As of October 2018, all new representative-level applicants are required to pass a general knowledge exam—the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam—in order to become registered to sell securities. With the new exam structure, individuals no longer need to be sponsored by a firm in order to sit for this entry-level exam. Give your students the best chance to become registered and enter the workforce after graduation by introducing them to key topics and terminology included in the SIE exam.
